Communities In Schools (CIS) is the nation’s leading organization dedicated to empowering students to stay in school and achieve in life. Our organization provides management skills to two CIS programs in Texas, with one in the
East Texas area, and one in the
Deep East Texas area. In the East Texas area, our local CIS program annually serves more than 5,000 students and their families within the Jefferson, Marshall, Mineola, New Diana, Ore City, and Pine Tree Independent School Districts. In the Deep East Texas area, our local CIS program annually serves more than 4,000 students and their families within the Conroe and Lufkin Independent School Districts. Our program is an affiliate of the
Communities In Schools National organization headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia.
